“Do not run from me, mate!” Hale bellowed as he caught her before she could take three steps. Instead of carrying her to their rooms, he turned to press her naked back against the cool silvered wall of the ship.
Tears swam in her eyes as she looked up at him with her heart in her eyes, a hand reaching up to stroke the side of his face. “My hunter.”
Some of the frustration and anger left his face as his countenance softened. “My Reyna, do you truly believe I no longer want you?”
She swallowed hard. “You no longer take me hard and wild. It’s like your need for me
perished when I fell from the falls.”
“I am being careful with you, mate! I will not risk hurting you or aggravating a healing
injury.”
“I’m fully recovered!” she protested.
“The doctor said light activity, light and yes, that we could resume relations but he didn’t
say I could use your beautiful body hard glutting myself until the aching need for you that fills my every minute is satisfied,” Hale said hoarsely.
Images of Hale doing just that in every position possible filled her mind as she stared up at
him and shivered. ”Yes, please.”
“No,” he said firmly with a hint of exasperation in his voice. “I love you, my Reyna. I can’t live without you and I will not risk your health for selfish reasons.”

mate. “But I need you, Hale.”
“And you will have me… but it will be on my terms, little mate,” he told her firmly as he

Reyna’s head came up as his hands ran down her sides to hook under her knees, then he
