The strangest thing just happened. I was busily working on my edits for my short story compilation when there was a knock at my door.
I answered the door to a big broody dark haired man. He was really quite handsome but I digress, “Morganna Williams?”
“Yes, but my friends call me Mo.” I told him with a big smile and my best eyelash flutter.
He ignored both and brushed past me as he walked into the house, “We need to have a little talk.” He growled at me.
Yes it was really growly speech which I must say I found a tad disturbing. I frowned at his back as I shut my door. “May I ask what this pertains to?”
He spun to face me, “You cannot continue to spy on my mate and I.” He said firmly as he began to roll up his sleeves. “I’m here to teach you a lesson.”
“What? I’ve never spied on anyone in my life! Well I do eavesdrop on occasion but doesn’t everyone?” I asked incredulously, as I watched him nervously. The way he was rolling up his sleeves reminded me of one of my stories, but this was real life. “Who are you?”
“Names Quinn, I’m here to teach you a lesson about being a nosy parker so you leave my mate Kyra and I alone.” Quinn said before walking towards me.
“I…wait…what? I created you! I’m not spying I’m working on a sequel to Primal heat! You can’t…”
Apparently I was misinformed, ten minutes later I was standing in the middle of the floor cupping my very tender tush while staring at the door my fictional character just went through.
I think I might be making my heros a tad to realistic.
