Today I’m hosting Tabitha Black on my blog! We’re going to do a little interview and talk about her new release Sharing Silver. First I’d like to say how much I love this book. Silver is a newly divorced woman suffering from self esteem issues left over from a couple of bad relationships. What does it take to help a hesitant submissive embrace herself as she is? Two hot Dominants willing and ready to show her everything she’s been missing and then some. Sharing Silver is a red hot read that’ll scorch your panties. Don’t miss it! Now on with the interview!
Morganna: “When did you first realize you were drawn to spanking/bdsm?”
Tabitha: “Even when I was a kid, I got a ‘funny feeling’ whenever spanking was mentioned in books, movies or on TV. I devoured Enid Blyton books, especially her Faraway Tree series – my favourite was obviously the one when they end up in ‘Spankingland.’ But I really thought there was something wrong with me… for the longest time, until I got the Internet and realised I wasn’t alone. The relief! I cannot even begin to describe the relief I felt to know that there were others out there who found the idea just as fascinating and erotic as I did. My research into spanking led me to the broader spectrum that is BDSM and the rest, as they say, is history.”
Morganna: “When did you start writing? Where the first things you wrote spanking/bdsm themed? If not how did this come about?”
Tabitha: “I started writing pretty much the moment I could hold a pen. I’ve always wanted to be a writer. Again, back in the pre-Internet days, it was a lot harder to get published, so my plan b was to become an editor. I just love, live and breathe the English language. I wrote short stories, novels, ideas, letters… anything. I wrote my first spanking stories when I was very young – but those were private, for my eyes only.
Later, once I got online and realized that there was a market for spanking stories, I read lots and lots of them and then considered writing something for publication myself. My first book was accepted by Bethany’s Woodshed immediately and everything just went from there!”
Morganna: “Who are your favorite authors same genre or main stream?”
Tabitha: “My list of favourite authors is just immense… I have far too many to name, in all genres. So I’ll stick to some of my favourites in the same genre – they are all legends, in my opinion, and they include: Carolyn Faulkner, Breanna Hayse, Maggie Ryan, Dinah McLeod and Maren Smith. I admire these four for very different reasons but they’re all amazingly talented.”
Morganna: “Favorite quote?”
Tabitha: “Gah, again, I have so many! I’m forever quoting stuff at people. How about this one:
“I love deadlines. I love the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.” ~ Douglas Adams”
Morganna: “How would your best friend describe you?”
Tabitha: “Sweet. And witty. I hope.”
Morganna: “ In what ways do you identify with your character Silver?”
Tabitha: “Out of all the books I’ve written so far, I must admit I have the most in common with Silver. We’ve both lived in England and Australia, we both have failed marriages, we both have self-esteem issues and we’re both really rather masochistic. Oh, and knife play. We both adore that.”
Now for three excerpts from Tabitha’s exciting book Sharing Silver! Is it just me or am I starting to sound a little like a game show host? Anyway on with the show!
“So, I see you’re for sale.” He reached out a finger and stroked the ribbon around her throat.
The throbbing between her legs was growing, and Silver shivered at his touch, despite herself. “Why?” she asked, hoping she sounded more confident than she felt. “You buying?”
“Perhaps. If I see something I like.”
The way he said it, the way his eyes were devouring her as he said it, that single fingertip still tracing the velvet on her skin…
“Er, where’s the bar?” she blurted out, desperate to break the spell.
“I can take you, if you like. Have you had a drink yet today?”
“Of course.” She almost groaned as his finger left her throat. “Come on then.”
Silver trotted obediently at his heels like a loyal little puppy dog, inwardly cursing herself all the way. So much for playing hard to get. You’re just like all the other girls after all, damn you. The first man to touch you since Stephen, and you’re practically climaxing in public.
“What’s your poison?” Trev moved aside once they had reached the bar, allowing her to speak directly to the bartender.
“Wait,” the girl said, “hold your arm under this.”
“What’s that?” Silver asked, as a scanner was run over her wrist.
“She’s checking to make sure you haven’t had any drinks yet today. Can’t have you taking leave of your senses.” Reaching out, he took a lock of her hair and twirled it casually. “Very pretty.”
“Thank you. Um. Can I have a glass of red, please? Merlot? Or maybe a Pinot if you have it?” Silver stammered to the girl behind the bar, trying to ignore the little jolts of electricity his touch was shooting directly to her scalp.
“Which do you prefer? We have both.”
The glass, when it arrived, was disappointingly small. “That’s it?”
“You shoulda ordered something stronger,” he said with a grin.
“A Long Island iced tea. Lots of bang for your buck there, in every sense of the word.”
“This is fine, thank you.” Silver let the girl stamp her arm and took a deep, grateful swallow, wondering how the hell she was meant to get through the evening sober.
“Well they wouldn’t want you barfing up on stage,” Trev said, as though he could read her mind.
She chuckled. “Barfing. So American.”
“Why? What do you call it?”
“We have lots of words for it, but barfing isn’t one of them. Puking is probably one of the most common expressions.” Well isn’t this a sexy conversation, she thought ruefully. It was a moment before she realised that he was staring at her. “What?”
“You have such an adorable accent,” he said slowly, “I was just wondering what you sound like when you’re begging to be allowed to come.”
Trevor was about ready to explode, and they’d barely even begun their session in the dungeon. He preferred to give, rather than receive, orgasm control, he thought ruefully, as his hard-on rubbed against its leather confines.
Silver’s paperwork had clearly stated that she enjoyed knife play, but even he hadn’t anticipated quite what an effect his brother’s glinting blade would have on her. Almost the moment he’d produced it, her eyes had glazed over, and Trevor could see the chain on her neck pulsing as her heart began to race.
His eyes never left hers as he lifted his fingers to his mouth, licking them clean, savouring the taste of the extraordinary girl who was lying naked on the table, Trav’s knife still scraping her flesh, her cunt still contracting from her climax.
Christ, the things he wanted to do to her—he wasn’t sure whether a lifetime would be long enough, let alone a couple more days. He wished he could bottle the expression in her eyes whenever she looked at him.
Oh shit, oh shit, what the fuck am I doing here? It had all seemed so exciting when she’d agreed to it in the safety of her own bedroom at home in Brisbane—being desired so much that someone was willing to pay for time with her had seemed like such a hot idea. To be bought as a plaything, with no control over who the purchaser was, what he chose to do to her, how he decided to use her—and yet to simultaneously have that fantasy fulfilled with the safety net of it happening at the Castle… it had seemed like a good idea at the time… back when she was feeling particularly submissive and masochistic, and would have given anything for a good, hard play. But now?
Now it was actually happening, and behind each of those flashing red lights in the dark void of the audience was a face, and she did not know a single one of them. You sort of know Trev, a small voice protested. Yeah, but he’s not the kind to need to pay for it, not when he probably gets it for free whenever he wants. What if someone really awful wins the bid, like that creepy dude who spoke to me earlier? It’s not like I can back out. I signed the waiver.
Silver started as the girl directly in front of her made her way up to the stage. She was vaguely aware of Master Marshall introducing her as ‘O’. Clever name, she thought.
‘O’ seemed enraptured to be there, at centre stage, and Silver gasped as the gorgeous girl suddenly stood with her back to the audience, bent over at the waist, and effectively mooned every single person in the room, provocatively, as if begging to be spanked, or fucked. Or both. Hardly surprising, then, that the bidding started thick and fast and only grew higher and higher, until ‘O’ was finally sold for the same amount as the girl before her; eight thousand dollars.
Shit, shit, shit, Silver cursed inwardly. The bids have been getting higher with each girl, but there’s no way I’ll ever fetch anything near that amount.
“And now ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our next girl up on stage… number eight, this is Silver, who has travelled all the way from Australia to be here with us this evening!” Master Marshall reached out to her, beckoning her to join him under the hot lights.
Don’t trip, don’t trip, don’t trip, Silver chanted inwardly as she ascended the small steps in those infuriating heels. After what felt like an eternity, she had finally taken her place beside the handsome, commanding, blond man who was hosting the event, and it was all she could do not to bury her face in his broad chest and hide.
Positively yummy excerpts Tabitha!
Thank you, Morganna, for taking the time to host me, it’s been lots of fun!

Blurb: It’s been six months since her vanilla marriage ended in divorce, and Sylvia is craving some fun and excitement – not to mention kink. So when her friend Rosa tells her about a slave auction being held at her workplace, the Castle, Sylvia throws caution to the wind and signs herself up to fly all the way to America to be sold off to the highest bidder under the nickname Silver. Gorgeous twin Castle Masters, Travis and Trevor, can have any girl they choose – and frequently do. The only downside to topping female guests, however, is the fact that there’s never enough time to build trust. So when Trevor hears about the auction, he decides it’s time to be selfish, and he and his brother set about looking for a plaything they can do whatever they want with – a girl with as few limits as possible.
When Silver and the twins meet, the chemistry is instantaneous and palpable. But all too soon, something more begins to develop between the three. What should have been a few days of physical excitement turns into an emotional roller coaster – not only for Silver, but for Travis and Trevor as well.
Overwhelmed by the events at the BDSM resort – and her feelings – Silver tries to get to grips with her past, as well as the fact that she’s rapidly falling in love with the two biggest playboys in Ohio.
In turn, Travis and Trevor are smitten by the mysterious girl from Australia, but whenever they try to get closer emotionally, she clams up. Can the twins make her see what she means to them before it’s too late, and Silver gets back on the plane home?
